Pick a dish!-May you be lucky?

Oke, sebelom mulai pembahasan, sebenarnya penasaran juga sama arti "Foodie". Menurut wikipedia

"Although the two terms are sometimes used interchangeably, foodies differ from gourmets in that gourmets are epicures of refined taste who may or may not be professionals in the food industry, whereas foodies are amateurs who simply love food for consumption, study, preparation, and news.[1] Gourmets simply want to eat the best food, whereas foodies want to learn everything about food, both the best and the ordinary, and about the science, industry, and personalities surrounding food.[2]"

Intinya kali ini mau cerita resto favorit si Muka Lebar dan Kaki Berbulu. Kita suka sekali Bakerzin. Di Jakarta kita selalu makan di Bakerzin Plaza Senayan, di Surabaya Bakerzin ada di Tunjungan Plaza IV (kita belom pernah coba makan di Surabaya tapi).

Well, Bakerzin ini sama halnya cafe-cafe lainnya yang menawarkan makanan dari west-east, dengan rasa yang oke banget tentunya. Kali pertama makan di Bakerzin, si Kaku Berbulu menjagokan Fried Oxtail Soup. Yang menurut dia enak banget. Si Muka Lebar memesan Oxtail Soup (original) yang menurut Si Muka Lebar rasanya saat itu agak amis, dan setelah diganti yang baru jejak amis masi ada. So, oxtail definitely not my favorite menu in Bakerzin.


Kedatangan selanjutnya si Muka Lebar mencoba peruntungan dengan pasta, mulai dari Aglio E Olio, yummy, rich, spicy dan yg paling penting gak terlalu oily. Selera si Muka Berbulu gak suka yang terlalu oily. Sekali waktu datanglah kita ke Bakerzin, dan Muka Lebar memesan Pesto Linguini Veal. How does it taste?

Saus pesto rasanya ok, ada spicy black pepper, sedikit oily, dan hal itu termaafkan karena ada tomat cincang segar, yang sudah dibumbui garam dan olive oil (napak basah sedikit oily dan gurih), dan di spicy veal yang di iris tipis, setengah matang, juicy, gurih dan pedas karena dilumuri bubuk cabe. Si pesto linguini with veal ini never let me down.
Selalu ok, rasanya setiap kesana!

Si Kaki Berbulu juga punya menu favorit baru, yaitu chicken cutlet with baby potato. Yang mana si Muka Lebar juga suka. Jadi boneless chicken, ditumis dengan kecap bawang dan dihidangkan di fried pan dengan roasted baby tomato.

"We are lucky to find this new tasty menu in Bakerzin. We have ever tasted one dish like this in another restaurant, but this Bakerzin's Chicken Cutlet taste better. Soft, sweet and delicious. We are lucky! This chicken is our new favorite.

Finally, we decided to try our luck by ordering chicken wings. And it turned out we're not that lucky. It taste like frozen food, with funny smell (i said funny means it is not a good smell). It is just bad choice. Kaki Berbulu have to eat it with Chicken Cutlet sauce to add the flavor, it didn't work on me. I still cannot enjoy it. I guess we are not that lucky!"

Sisanya menu favorit Bakerzin adalah Baileys Cream Soufflé, yang rasanya mantab. Ingin mencoba dessert lain namun sayang sekali, dokat tak menunjang. Trus di kesempatan lain kita mencoba Apple pie/tart. Rasanya lumayan, cruchy, manis, gak lebay manisnya, cinammonnya kerasa, apelnya agak asem dan empuk. Tapi menurut muka lebar untuk apple tarlet, punya ninety nine the best deh...
